KELTRON’s history is a saga of innovation in electronics. From being a pioneer in 1973, to the role of a trend-setter today, Keltron has been the catalysis for the development of electronics industry in Kerala.
Keltron Knowledge Services Group a business unit under IT Business Group of Keltron, was formed in the year 1999 with the intention of imparting technical education at an affordable rate to the students in Kerala. Its mission is to set a higher benchmark in IT, ITeS & Computer education segment, provide quality education and emerge as a center of excellence in IT education and Knowledge services arena. Over the years, KSG has churned out thousands of professionals who excel in their respective fields. Since its inception, a number of courses have been added to the portfolio, taking the total tally of courses to more than 400. This has helped in fulfilling the requirement of industries both inside Kerala and outside the state. KSG now conducts training through 35 direct centers and more than 200 Authorized Training Centres.
Many reasons can be attributed for the excellence of students who have had training in the KSG campuses. First of all, the curriculum is formulated by the curriculum committee to cover the topics in-depth and is constantly updated in accordance with the latest development in the field and also with the input from the industry experts. Courses are categorized into Long Term Courses and Short Term Courses from Lower level to Advanced levels. The courses offered are Certified Courses, Diploma Courses, Advanced Diploma Courses and Post Graduate Diploma Courses. Secondly, the courses are conducted in such manner, wherein, the essential industry exposure or training is ensured to the students in the leading firms. Thirdly, the evaluation of students is done in a progressive and comprehensive manner, which ensures that the industry gets skilled and knowledgeable recruits.
A highly developed infrastructure plays a crucial role in training the students and KSG has spared no dime to ensure this.
